DIRECTOR, PLACEMAKING LAB
In the Summer of 2015, Sextantworks hosted an arts residency on Governors Island in New York City to host provocations on architecture, urban exploration, urban planning, real-world game design, cartography, and prankster activism.
I collaborated with the organization's founders as the Director of this experience, my responsibilities including curating lab participants, establishing a schedule of events, and managing communications with all contributors. I additionally oversaw the historic house the provided the backdrop for this lab, facilitated the installation of physical exhibits in the space, and helped to run multiple classes, workshops, and other assorted activities each weekend.
The lab details can be found here.
