About

Drawing on professional experience in arts and culture organizations, I am a creative project manager who balances cross-team collaboration and detail-oriented systems design. By bringing a background in production, community management, and communications to imaginative teams, I support creatives in achieving their professional goals, enabling them to engage their audiences in evolving forms of multidisciplinary exchange.

Areas of Experience

  • My design fundamentals stem from Parson’s Strategic Design and Management program, with coursework covering design research, sustainable business strategy, and organizational leadership. I bring these skills into museum work, using design to help teams manage complex projects.

  • How can we create accessible resources for creatives? From my Capstone research project on Houston’s arts economy, to an annual public-facing studio residency, to a year-long professional development program for arts technologists, I infuse support for creative communities into all my projects.

  • Communications, content production, and social media management were the focus of my early career. Writing, editing, and designing layout and graphics for tech companies and digital publications provided me the visual, written, and verbal skills that help me move projects forward.

  • I establish the logistics that allow creatives to showcase their work. Organizing exhibitions from beginning to end, I collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to realize each unique artistic vision, helping artists to connect to their audiences in new ways.

  • I put the right tools in place to help teams overcome challenges. Whether it’s Collections, Content, or Project Management systems, I love diving into the flow of data within organizations, learning new tools and sharing those I know to help teams get the information they need to accomplish their goals.

  • Through roles in program development, event coordination, and communications, I’ve stepped into production roles in music, dance, film, theater, literature, cuisine, and visual arts. I see how the puzzle pieces for each production fit together and problem-solve to facilitate smooth operation.
